 This is my plant!

    It is a Peperomia frost. I got it a few months ago on June 3rd from a local plant nursery! I have always loved plants and flowers, but because I have two cats, it can be difficult to keep plants in my home. I have always avoided having any house plants because my cat Belle has a reputation to be a bit of a nibbler. However, I decided I really really wanted a plant so I did some research. I looked into some cat-friendly house plants, then went to my local nursery. They were really helpful and had a limited, but beautiful pet-friendly selection. Peperomia don't grow too big, take medium indirect sunlight, and don't die if you forget to water it one day, so I went with it. 

    Since it's adoption, it has grown quite a bit! I even had to get aa larger pot. I plan on making it a custom pot in the future, but for now it is in one I bought from the nursery. I also haven't decided on a name or gender. I'm a bit too indecisive for that. I think I need to name it right now or else I will go crazy. I can't keep taking about my plant without a name.

    Okay his name will be Jeremy. He/him. Cool.

    Jeremy has been to my local comic book store with me before! Every month, they host an artist social and he joined me at the last one. The nursery is a few minutes away from the comic book store, so I took him to be repotted right before the social. It was mega hot that day and I didn't want to leave Jeremy to bake in my car, so I just brought him with me. Everyone loved seeing him and he definitely enjoyed meeting so many awesome artists.
